Here is the text from an e-mail I just got from my mom:"William went up stairs and I heard him banging around in the kitchen. I figured he was getting a snack. He came back down with a bag of popcorn. He handed it to me and said "I popped you popcorn. I thought you would like it." I was baffled. I said, how did you know how to pop popcorn? He said "I just pushed the green button." The popcorn was popped perfect. What a smart kid you have!"

That's amazing. He is smart. Hopefully he never pushes any buttons without something being in there.
First, how amazing that he just figured out how to do it. Second, how sweet that he thought Grandma would want a snack :) Third, Yup he's a Risenmay--can't get enough of our popcorn! Although I personally don't like it quite as much as Ann and Brooklynn like it.
it's a good thing he didn't try and cook her some pretzels...:)

Mom told me later that went she went up stairs she noticed that there was still more than 9 minutes left on the microwave. So we're thinking he put the bag in, pushed a bunch of buttons and then just took it out when it stopped popping. Still pretty amazing. :)
Ha ha, I love it. What a smart boy you have. (Even to take it out when it stops popping--that takes some observation skills.)
Will has already learned enough cooking skills to survive at college. He can be my roommate
